Care Instructions

SOY WAX CANDLES

You're going to love your new Caslie & Co soy candle. To ensure your candle gets the life it deserves, apply the following care instructions for best product outcome

  • Before lighting the wick, trim down to 6mm and remove any wick pieces that may have fallen into the wax. This encourages an even burn for your candle.

  • Upon the first light of the candle, it is recommended that the candle remain lit for approximately 3 - 4 hours before extinguishing. This encourages the candle to burn evenly and avoids the wax tunnelling.

  • When the candle is lit, avoid having it in an area where the flame may be disturbed. Ensure the candle is in a still, draught free area.

  • Where possible, extinguish the candle with a snuffer. This avoids the wick going off centre, enabling the constant even burn of the candle.

  • Whilst your candle is not lit, avoid having your candle in an area where the candle may be exposed to dust and direct sunlight. This will avoid your candle from fading or cracking.

  • After extinguishing, the wick may appear to have a mushroom shape. Before relighting, remove this from the wick, and ensure the wax is clean from any wick debris.

  • After extinguishing, to avoid the smoke ruining the lovely aroma from your candle, we recommend that you replace the lid until the smoke subsides.
